Guadalupe Ricagno

President

Since arriving in Manitoba in late 2019, Guadalupe has dedicated significant time and effort to AMA, particularly through her work with the Immigration Committee. Helping other Argentineans fulfill their dream of settling and thriving in Manitoba has been a deeply rewarding experience and one of her greatest passions.
With more than 13 years of experience in Human Resources management in the technology, manufacturing and insurance industries, Guadalupe has developed experience spanning Latin America, the United States and Canada. Passionate about optimizing organizational efficiency, simplifying processes and leveraging technology, she focuses on creating meaningful and sustainable solutions. 
Passionate about mate, alfajores and wine, Guadalupe enjoys sharing and keeping Argentinean traditions alive. With a firm commitment to promoting Argentinean culture.
As a member of the AMA Board of Directors, Guadalupe is dedicated to highlighting the richness of Argentinean heritage and building a strong, united community where Argentineans in Manitoba can connect, thrive and proudly celebrate their cultural identity.

Erika Schurlick

Secretary

Erika is a physiotherapist who graduated from the National University of Entre Ríos in 2014. In Winnipeg, while she is going through the process to obtain the physiotherapist license, she works as a kinesiologist.
Since her arrival in Canada in 2023 thanks to the support of AMA, Erika has been an active part of the community and wants to continue collaborating to preserve and spread the Argentine culture in Winnipeg and to help families who wish to immigrate here.

Mónica Schor

Vice President

Monica obtained her IT Professional Degree from the University of Buenos Aires. She moved to Ushuaia in 1982, and  was head of the Computer Department at the Government of Tierra del Fuego.
Years later she completed courses in education in order to teach ESL and Science with the use of LEGO Educational material for elementary school kids.
During her years in Ushuaia, she held a voluntary position as President of the “Escuela 3 PAC”, organizing fundraising events to support the construction of a new gym for the school.
As school teacher, she organized “English Concerts” and different types of events.
Monica moved to Winnipeg in 1997, and worked for 23 years as an IT Professional at Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, formally Manitoba Liquor Control Commission.
Monica is a founding member of AMA. She participated in the creation of the project “Manitoba Our Home”, partnering with the Government of Manitoba in supporting potential immigrants that came through the Association for exploratory visits. She also organized several AMA fundraising dinners and was Folklorama General Coordinator from 2002 to 2018.
Monica brings her years of experience in different roles, to support the Association in all its endeavours.

Carlos Belaustegui

Treasurer

Carlos is a Physiotherapist and Osteopath, specialized in Sports Injuries Rehabilitation, and Master’s degree in Health Service Management.
He is from Diego de Alvear, a little town in Santa Fe province, and lived in Rosario during his professional life in Argentina.

Currently Carlos is working as Osteopathic Manual Therapist in different locations in Winnipeg.He and his wife arrived to Manitoba in October 2023 with the help and support of AMA and start to volunteering in AMA as soon as he had the chance. Since he began his immigration process, he longed to be able to assist the entire Argentine community in Manitoba and everyone who decided to emigrate.
