On July 18, 1994, a terrorist bomb exploded at the AMIA - Jewish Community Centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The blast killed 85 people and wounded 300 more. To date, 29 years later, none of the perpetrators has been brought to justice. We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s program. B'nai Brith Canada, the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, and the Argentinean Manitoba Association (AMA) will hold a community-wide commemoration to remember the 29th anniversary of the AMIA bombing.
The Commemoration and Candle Lighting service will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2022, at 6:30 pm in the Berney Theatre.
We would like to invite YOU to light one of 85 candles in memory of the victims of this terrorist attack.
